Therapy for high-functioning, overwhelmed badass adults who look like they have it together….. but feel like they’re barely keeping up.

If your brain is loud, your heart is tired, and life feels like… a lot…you’re in the right place!

Insight is great. Actually using it when you're anxious, overwhelmed, stuck in an ADHD spiral, grieving, or arguing with your partner? That's where the real work happens.

Online Therapy for Adults and couples with Dr. Nichole Vincent, Licensed Clinical Psychologist across 43 States

You don't have to keep doing this the hard way.

If you’ve ever thought, “WTF is even happening right now?”….. welcome, you’re my people!

This might look like:

  • Reading three books about boundaries anddddd still saying yes when you would rather say no.

  • Turning a 20-minute task into a two-hour production because your brain decided it had to be done exactly right.

  • Feeling relieved when plans get canceled, then feeling guilty about being relieved.

  • Wondering if you're "too much," while simultaneously feeling invisible.

  • Walking into a room to get something, forgetting why you're there, and finding three other unfinished things along the way.

I’m Dr. Nichole Vincent (she/her), a licensed clinical psychologist providing online therapy for adults and couples navigating anxiety, ADHD, grief, perfectionism, overwhelm, and relationship challenges. I'm licensed in Texas and Florida and authorized through PSYPACT to work with clients across 43 PSYPACT participating states.

All sessions are virtual, secure, and designed to fit real life.

Most of the people I work with aren't falling apart on the outside. They're getting the promotions, showing up for everyone else, and somehow keeping all the plates spinning. Underneath, they're often dealing with anxiety, ADHD overwhelm, perfectionism, burnout, or the exhaustion of carrying responsibilities no one else sees.

You answer the emails. Meet the deadlines. Remember everyone else's birthday. Keep showing up. And then wonder why something as small as an unanswered text, a change of plans, or deciding what to make for dinner can feel like the thing that finally takes you out.

Therapy with me gives you one place where you don't have to perform, explain away your struggles, or pretend you're okay just because you're functioning.

Let’s see if we might be the next great therapy dynamic duo

If this is resonating, the next step is simple:

Online Therapy You Can Actually Use in Your Real Life, Not Just During Sessions!

Because understanding the pattern is helpful. Knowing what to do when it shows up at 9:47 on a Tuesday night is better.

We don't stop at understanding the pattern. We practice what comes next.

  • Catch the spiral earlier.

  • Set the boundary before resentment does it for you.

  • Respond differently when the same old trigger shows up.

Insight helps you see the pattern. Repetition helps a different response become available when you actually need it.

If you’re craving a therapist who feels like a mix of soft space, sharp insight, and the exact blend of humor and humanity you need, I think you'll probably like how I work.

Through PSYPACT, I provide online therapy to adults in 43 participating states, so care can continue even when life or location changes.

Wherever you go, support goes with you.

It’s Me. Hi, I’m Your New Therapist. It’s Me.

Whether you found me on Google, through a friend, or because the internet “stars” finally aligned in your favor… I’m genuinely glad you’re here!

One thing I've learned after years of doing this work is that people rarely need another person to tell them what's wrong with them.

They need someone who's willing to slow down long enough to help everything finally make sense.

Research consistently finds that the relationship you have with your therapist is one of the strongest contributors to successful therapy outcomes. Feeling understood, supported, and truly seen matters.

That’s why clients choose to work with me when they want a therapist who is:

  • Clinically grounded and emotionally attuned

  • Warm and direct

  • Deeply validating and willing to challenge patterns

I support adults with fast brains, deep feelings, big losses, and heavy expectations of themselves. I'll validate what you've been carrying, and I'll also gently point out the patterns that keep pulling you back into the same cycle. Therapy with me is about helping things finally make sense.

If you think a lot, feel a lot, or carry a lot, we might just work well together in therapy.

Let’s Get Started

Online Therapy & EPPP Support

individual therapy for overwhelmed, high-functioning adults

Individual therapy for adults who look fine on the outside but feel anxious, stuck, distracted, burned out, or overwhelmed underneath. We may work on anxiety, adult ADHD, grief, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or burnout.

Online couples therapy for communication & disconnection

Couples therapy for partners who love each other deeply but feel stuck, disconnected, or worn down by recurring patterns and want support finding their way back to each other.

EPPP Support for psychologists who feel stuck

Strategic EPPP support from someone who didn’t pass easily and understands what it’s like when the usual advice hasn’t worked. You’ve studied hard, tried different approaches, and still aren’t seeing it translate.

Therapy that fits your life and your energy!

Here's something I believe: understanding yourself should eventually make your life easier.

Most of my clients already understand themselves surprisingly well.

They've read the books. Listened to the podcasts. Asked ChatGPT.

The problem isn’t lack of insight. it’s that insight can disappear the moment anxiety, grief, ADHD, or conflict shows up.

You need help using what you already know when life gets loud.

That's where we get to work!

You deserve a mentally well-thy life

Less spiraling. Less overfunctioning.

More room to actually live your life!

You won't spend session after session just telling me what happened that week while I nod thoughtfully. We'll make room for what hurts, figure out what keeps repeating, and practice what you can actually do differently when the pattern shows up again. I'll validate you, laugh with you when appropriate, gently call you on your shit when that's what you need, and help you build tools that work with your brain instead of against it.

Some of the things we might work toward include:

  • Spend less time replaying conversations in your head

  • Soften the pressure you’ve been carrying for years

  • Make sense of your patterns instead of shaming yourself

  • Catch anxiety and your inner critic before they hijack the rest of your day

    Evidence-Based Therapy, Without the Therapy-Speak

My approach is evidence-informed and tailored to what you're actually struggling with. Depending on your needs and goals, our work may draw from approaches I use in my practice, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based strategies.

That might look like learning to catch an anxious thought before you're two hours into the spiral. Practicing how to tolerate discomfort without immediately trying to fix, avoid, or overthink it. Setting a boundary without spending the next three days wondering if you're a terrible person. Orrrrr learning to notice your inner critic without automatically treating everything it says like a fact.

The therapy approach matters. But what matters more is finding strategies that fit you and practicing them enough that they're easier to access when real life gets loud.
